About Me

My name is Ana, and I’m a non-fiction filmmaker and digital storyteller.

I come from a theatrical family, being a fourth-generation artist.

I was educated for the stage, but I quickly moved to filmmaking, as well as writing and producing for TV broadcasters and online clients.

I started working when I was 18, and since then I’ve been writing, directing, editing and producing various types of content: documentary films, TV series, reality shows, animation, digital stories, reportages.

Today, I work as independent documentary filmmaker, audiovisual curator and senior content producer.

My most time-consuming passions are great human stories, brilliant VR pieces, and football.

  • BIO

    Ana is a Warsaw-born Filmmaker and AV Producer with over 10 years experience in film, TV and digital sector.

    Her arthouse projects have been presented at some of the most prestigious film festivals and markets: Hot Docs Forum in Toronto, Venice VR Biennale, Visions du Réel in Nyon, Cross Video Days in Paris, East Doc Platform in Prague.

    In 2018 she founded Petersdottir Media – a creative initiative that focuses on impactful, innovative storytelling (linear & XR production, marketing solutions and media education).

    Currently, she works on new pieces, curates VR events, conducts innovation workshops for companies and public institutions, and teaches Immersive Media. Ana is also an experienced speaker, and she travels regularly as a digital expert.

    Ana has extensive experience in directing and producing TV shows, promotional videos, indie documentaries, animated series, and digital experiences.For many years she has been developing stories for TVN Discovery Group, writing reportages for AGORA (major Polish media company), and creating storytelling marketing strategies for private clients. She was a new media consultant at The Ministry of Culture and National Heritage in Poland, as well as other public institutions and private companies.

    She is a Documentary Campus Masterschool alumna, and a former EURODOC participant. She received training in TV journalism at Thompson-Reuters & TVN24. She holds a Master’s degree in Drama Directing. She is a member of Kaleidoscope VR network.

    Ana is a dedicated football fan, and she commentates on games on a weekly sports show at Wirtualna Polska.
